Day in the Life of our "Guests"
The typical day for our guests is very busy!
The first day a family comes into the shelter they will meet with their case manager and prepare to go the host congregation for the night.
5:30pm - Families either drive themselves or ride in our van to the host congregation
6:00pm - Dinner is served by a volunteer family from the host congregation. The evening "host" will eat with the families.
8:00pm - The overnight "host" will come in to stay the night in the building with the families (Every family has their own room)
10:00pm- Lights out!
7:00am - Van leaves for Day Center for families to get their kids to school and then off to find employment or housing. Some guests have found employment and head to work.
